God Why?

We talk faith
While on the mountain
We lose faith
When we reach the valley

Strange things happens
Both good and bad
Sometimes worse and worst
Hence the question why?

We proclaim God is good
Yet we do not believe
How then do we act?
Still we ask God why?

We pray for Patience
Yet we are darn eager
And took our bull by its horn
And continue to ask God why?

He is God in good times
He's still God in the bad times
He's God of the day
And God of the night

Though He may seem absent
He's ever present
Despite provision
He sent His Son still
Irrespective of His fullness at time

This earth is vanity
All in it is
All about it is
So why ask the question?
Why ask God why?

Take on the shield of faith
To overcome fiary darts
Of the wicked
Instead of asking why
Why don't you give Thanks...
