Peace In Provision I: the Bus-stop story

The BUS-STOP story
Not that I speak in respect of want; for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. Philippians 4 vs 11

This incident happened in my presence and it got me thinking a lot, it’s titled ‘the bus-stop story’
I was at the bus-stop trying to board a cab or a bike to my place of work as usual. I noticed a man passing by his clothes were oddly off in colour, rough but not dirty, he even wore trainers .He bought koko,a maize pap (I guess his breakfast) and was on his way to cross the road, when his supposed meal fell to the ground and I was like Oh mennn...meanwhile the koko was sold in a nylon bag.
Then I saw him squirt to see what he could pick from the spill, he was able to get a little into a nylon bag. When he was through he cleaned himself up and went on his way
If it was my meal that poured away like that I might have cried.
On that day God made me see something unusual and I learnt a lesson. There’s this peace that you feel or experience when God is in control especially in your provision.
