Peace In Provision III: the CHOCOLATE story

'Not that I speak in respect of want; for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content'...Philippians 4 vs11
This is one of the stories I read from a devotional and I like to share, it’s called ‘the chocolate story’
Many years ago living alone, I suddenly had an overwhelming urge for chocolate. It was fairly late at night, so I searched all the secret places I usually had it stashed but came up empty handed. Not even a wrapper to lick! So I sat on my bed and asked the Lord if He wouldn’t mind taking a moment’s break from supervising planetary matters in order to help curb my addition. I laughed at my audacity and picked up a book.
Twenty minutes later there was a knock at my door. Having forgotten my prayer by then, I was shocked to see a friend from the street. When I asked what bought her to my house so late she answered, ‘About twenty minutes ago, God spoke to me strongly and told me to get you chocolate now! She then preceded to hand me a bag of chocolate.
God reminds me of that story sometimes to remind me of his love, power and sense of humor!                    There’s a peace in his ability to provide for all your needs.
