Before You Concede To Peer Pressure.
Being locked up in your own world gives a meaning to what's known as isolation.Whereas, being open, blows your mind out of isolation into social Oblivion. A fate far greater than migration.Endless words of peer pressure is imbibed through every post, pictures and comments. This pressure only exist to those who wants it and believe in peer group .Being social creates the meanest wave to our minds and our brain works on it, sometimes making it work overtime. You know the non-stop chatting and internet surfing, keeping up to the latest trends, follow up on friends and probably stalking a crush or a 'wannabe' Friend using various social devices and application. This is what we do and more.
In those days ( days you ain't yet born), you'll would have heard people having or making friends from the streets, bus-stops,church, social gatherings, anywhere. You could probably recall your parents tales on 'how I met my wife' or 'How I met my best friend' but now things are different. A socially awkward teenager has more friends on Facebook or followers on Instagram or Twitter than even the socially aware ones, this is just a fact.
The question: What do you have in mind?
Is replied with a motif, at most time it's not good. The sole aim of people on social media is too have followers,so they go at any rate or measure just to feel among and with the aim of being an online celeb, this it's self might not literally be peer pressure but it's a building relation, some say and I quote 'its like living your life on the cloud with many paparrazies telling you to change your style' ,well that's something, I would have thought that it only happens when on drugs. This scenarios causes some of us whose mind are yet to be renewed lose focus and it happens, no matter how spiritual you claim you are.
So,being a Christian gives us an edge over many things, the holy Spirit how comforter and most importantly our Counselor speaks and advice us, that's if we want to listen. But it does us a lot of good when we do. Have you ever wondered about what Jesus would have done, if he was here in this century.
