It's Friday

I started the day with a cold shower, then I felt I needed a big sweater and I chose to wear my brother's 3/4 trousers with my sandals. I also chose to ignore a free ride, if only I had known.

I boarded a taxi instead, it's just that free ride freaks me, especially if I don't know you. When I got down, the car steel door just tore my trouser, the back part. Mehn! My brain was already working. I don't have enough cash to get a new one at that point. I just thank God I was wearing a big oversized shirt.

Leaving that scene, I plugged in my earpiece to listen to one sick song that will uplift my day from the torn trousers. Then, two guys ran past as if they were being pursued. My mind took overdrive, coupled with my heart. My imagination sets in, I saw a lot of stray bullets, police officers with big guns running towards me(scratch that!) I saw thugs, lots of them, with sharp tools.

I shake my head and these images vanished. I saw a shed and stayed for a while. After few minutes, when none of my imagination came through, I decided to leave.

Then,

I just fell on my bottom, Oh! God, I was short of words, I just laid there for a while staring at the sky. People passed by minding their business. I just started to laugh. I got up, dusted my yellow oversized shirt, and continued to work.

I told God yesterday, that I will try to be happy at all times, and the zeal of unblissful thoughts, I don't want them anymore. I believed strongly in my spirit that I needed to let go of my old way of thinking, to put an end to these things because I was expectant on new beginnings.

I'm happy I laughed, the joy of the Lord is my strength.

Nothing can spoil your day unless you give it the liberty.
