Dare had tried everything he could to get by even at the expense of him forfeiting school to help his family through these stormy times. His Mom had been sick for some time now and the hospital bills are piling begging to be paid. He knows no rich Uncle or Aunt, he has no one of good standing to help. Yet, he lived by working like a jackal to see his mother well because he believed her health is paramount as she was of great importance to him. He rarely eats as he ought to, even his clothes appeared worn to the extent that he could be mistaken as an unkempt person. As he made his way to their rented apartment after a long day of intense manual labor, his stomach grumbled loudly. He was hungry and undeniably tired as he couldn’t seem to feel his leg.
