A little show of kindness to an unapproachable person, a person who don't know what love is, a person who barely expect anything good from anyone, makes the world feel safe. It signifies that there is still hope in this world.
Even when we are of the optimium conviction that the world might be waiting for someone to inspire, motivate them even though no one is coming to their rescue. But the real deal is, we have a free choice. We can perform the act to motivate, inspire and show kindness to people without expecting anything in return
The scriptures reveals that the world is waiting for our manifestation—this also tells of our good deed and it's not always about what materialism we want to showcase. Literally, we are the light in this darkened world, the silver linings behind that clouded sky, the hope at the very end of the tunnel.
We are the taste, the salt of the earth.
Somepeople are unclear about their purpose —preferably as to why they are created. Although discovering purpose is a totally different topic in this context but I've realized that one of the key in discovering purpose is when you propose to be selfless. Consistently giving your time and self, to sow the seeds of kindness in people make you to discover many things about yourself and your response to those discovery at least leads you on the path to purpose.
After all that's said, the Lord command us to be kind one to another, forgiving one another even as Christ forgave us. Let's adhere to instructions,it's all for our good.
