Friends' like a Glue


I once thought I had a friend ,we had a lot of things in common actually before you ask she is a girl; we were so close then that we did almost everything together  but we acknowledge each other as colleagues and not as friends,Then when a moment of trial in my life surfaced 'She denied me' with everyone around us.I could not find fault in her because "we weren't friends" but colleagues.
Being  a friend goes beyond this ,friendship is like a glue that binds relationships together.Though we did not acknowledge the use of these words we knew in our hearts that we were friends.
The level at which you are able to endure and altogether love is very crucial.Friendship is about what you can give and not what you can take.You give expecting nothing in return.
To me seeing friendship in a new dimension as given me a little compromisable insight as to why we love and care for one another;God started with friendship,He created and loves us,we even have His DNA in us (Breath of life). So what more do we need,some friends will discourage us but that doesn't mean we have to stop being friends even to our enemies, Jesus said 'Pray for your enemies...'
I will leave with these Thank You God for being my friend and confident also,thank you for surrounding me with good people am proud to call my friends.
