Live Not For Worry
This poem is written by me and my friend Adebayo Yinka.
Worry is a castle built in time of despair,
When with hurts no one can repair,
When things are bad
And we are sad,
Tell me why not to worry,
Who else cares
Where can I run to if not the big castle.
Am running to these castle
Since I can't get a cure,
Let me get hurt the more,
So much to worry for,
When there is no cloth or fur,
Boiling up with faults,
Did not make such things halt,
Nevertheless salty.
Though I do crave for tea,
That's not the task,
This to quench some thirst,
Alas! My head is banging,
Eye socket's hanging,
'Why is this so hard...?'
My heart recoiled.
So much to worry for,
My state is so faugh!
What I need,
Is it really a hug?
Ahh! Am frustrated
And even irritated,
Why worry?
When I can pray,
Hmm,
What have I gained ,
Even from these state,
Nothing but a vengeful taste,
Of defeat.
Why worry?
There's nothing to gain,
But lose that cost.
Worry isn't Fake but dust.
