Education is a strategic aim, we all need to achieve for inclusiveness and empowerment to be whatever it is we wanna. The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 24th January as International Day of Education, last year was the first year to mark the role of education for peace and development. Today, marks another. According to UNESCO, without inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong opportunities for all, countries will not succeed in achieving gender equality and breaking the cycle of poverty that is leaving millions of children, youth and adults behind. However, implemention of good educational strategies should be our goal in this year; going back to the drawing board, seeing beyond the years ahead of us, perceiving that freedom is not the only weapon, education has to offer.So far, they say education is both formal and informal, it's true, but what good is it to learn one and leave the other. NO.3 PREPARATION  There is a saying that preparation proceeds manifestation. How prepared are you for the new year? What are your long time goals and your short time goals? Have you set targets to help you achieve these goals ? Do you have a check list that aligns your day and sets you on track? If you plan, you will get more things done. I'll give you an example, Your daily goals, leads to weekly goals which leads to monthly goals and eventually, your year is set. Do you know that you can start planning to be better this year? To achieve more this year, to be more organised this year, let me ask you this, do you plan on what to wear or you just open your ward rode and what ever your hand picks, is what you put your body into? Do you plan on what to eat and when?Do you have plans for how much to spend per day and you will not exceed it?  What's your plan for having a family in the future? No. 2 TIME Time is the key factor to success. Alot of people have no respect for time,we need to respect peoples time and  also our own time. A lot of us need to work on our timing. Let me give you an example, you have a 9am appointment and you leave the house just few minutes before 9, you are ready to go late. I will tell you a quick story. I once met a woman online and I admire her work. I sent her a message on her IG page and fortunately for me, she replied.  I asked her to mentor me and she said she's very occupied as at that time that I'll have to wait for some weeks before she can take me. She eventually called me to come over for a meeting in Lagos, when I had my first meeting with her, I was so excited. I looked my best, I was on point, I got there early.  We spoke and she was impressed with me. So, she gave me another appointment and I got there 10 mins late. It might seem that this is coming late but it isn't. Welcome to the year 2020. I am persuaded of great things in the new year. I celebrate all your achievements in the last year and I wish you double in the new year As we step into 2020, I will be giving you 20 things to do in the new year. I learnt this from a great mentor of mine and I will be happy to share with you. We will take it 1 per day, I will try to be consistent on this. So, that means I will be posting on my blog for the next 20 days. 2020 is a year we will need to move together,with no one left behind.
