Committment and not Celebration on the Second International Education Day.
Education is a strategic aim, we all need to achieve for inclusiveness and empowerment to be whatever it is we wanna.
The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 24th January as International Day of Education, last year was the first year to mark the role of education for peace and development. Today, marks another. According to UNESCO, without inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong opportunities for all, countries will not succeed in achieving gender equality and breaking the cycle of poverty that is leaving millions of children, youth and adults behind.
However, implemention of good educational strategies should be our goal in this year; going back to the drawing board, seeing beyond the years ahead of us, perceiving that freedom is not the only weapon, education has to offer. So far, they say education is both formal and informal, it's true, but what good is it to learn one and leave the other. Education, Learning is important, the ability to read, reveals much, now applying what has been revealed, Men! that called knowledge.Don't we all crave for it.

| January 24, should be about our commitment towards education and not Celebration. |
Even though, the best education was not received by many of us, but today, we still make 'a do' with what we have and with what we are learning, now look at where you are and what's you've achieved. We need to renew our environment and create or make a change to impact lives through education. We need to make this younger generation know what education is all about, because going to school is just a close step to knowing. Ignorance isn't the key to success, Education is the key driver.
